The melomakarono, or melomakarona in plural, is a traditional Greek and Cypriot dessert. Melomakarona are primarily a Christmas dessert and together with Kourabiedes are a must for the festive season.
This is a seasonal product available only for a few months around Christmas. Food From Cyprus sources freshly produced Melomakarona from Jenny's Home, a local bakery in Nicosia.
Ingredients:
Wheat Flour, honey, sugar, sunflower oil, orange juice, walnuts, almonds, cinnamon. May contain traces of sesame.
