Food From Cyprus is based in Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus. How can I pay for my order?

We accept amazon pay.

Sign in with your Amazon credentials and easily and safely pay with the address and payment information stored in your Amazon account. We neither get to see nor save your Amazon payment information.

We accept payments via PayPal*.

You can also use your credit card Visa / Delta / Electron, MasterCard / Eurocard, Maestro or American Express to pay through PayPal (you do not need to create a PayPal account to pay with your credit card).

In addition to credit cards you can use debit cards or bank cards to pay through PayPal. PayPal accepts all debit cards that have the Visa or MasterCard logo.

If you prefer to pay via bank transfer please contact us by either filling in our Food From Cyprus Contact Form or emailing us Food From Cyprus Email Address to enable us to email you our bank account details.

* For Russian customers: Russian PayPal accounts are automatically set to make payments in Rubles and this may cause your payment to fail. It is necessary to tick the request to be billed in the currency of the seller for your payment to be successful. It is also necessary to call PayPal to ask them to allow payments in foreign currency from your PayPal account.

* For customers who cannot pay via PayPal: PayPal do not operate in certain countries. We also accept payments via Bank Transfer either in € in our bank account in Cyprus or in £ in our bank account in the UK. If you are unable to pay us via PayPal please contact us for our bank account details to enable you to pay via bank transfer.

Are my credit card details safe on the Food From Cyprus online shop?

Your credit or debit card details are fully secure. In addition to SSL encryption on our online shop we use PayPal to process your payments which is a 100% secure online payments processing gateway.

Food From Cyprus neither sees nor stores your credit or debit card details.

 

Can I pay in my own currency for my order?

Food From Cyprus accepts all major currencies that are acceptable to PayPal. The base currency of our online shop is the British Pound £. If you prefer to pay in a different currency you can select your currency from the pull down menu at the top left of our website.

How do you ship my order?

Food From Cyprus ships your order via the Cyprus Post International Parcel Service. We carefully and securely pack your order to ensure that the products reach you in a perfect condition. Fragile goods are clearly marked.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Food From Cyprus does not hold any stocks. After we receive your order and payment we source the goods from our suppliers to ensure both quality and freshness. This process takes a maximum of three working days. After shipment your order should be delivered to you within 5 – 7 working days for most European destinations and 7 – 15 working days for most non-European countries. Weekends and bank holidays are not classed as working days. Longer delivery times are possible during peak periods such as Christmas, Easter, etc.

Do I need to create an account in order to buy some products on Food From Cyprus?

No. You do not need to create an account to place an order. You have the option to check out as a guest. We would still need your postal address (your PayPal registered address) to enable us to ship your order to you.

How can I log in to my account if I have forgotten my password?

If you have forgotten your login password click on ‘Log in’ at the top right of our website. This will bring you to the login page. In the box ‘Already registered?’ click on ‘Forgot your password?’. On the ‘Forgot your password?’ page fill in the email address with which you originally registered on Food From Cyprus and click ‘Validate’. You will receive an automated email with a new password to enable you to login. After you login to your account you can change the password to a password of your choice.

How can I track my order online?

As soon as you place and pay for your order you will receive an automated email advising you on the status of your order. You will receive a new email after we post your order to you with the status of your order as ‘Shipped’. At this point you can login to your account on Food From Cyprus, click on 'History and details of my orders' then on your particular order and then click on the tracking number (the order reference number at the top of our automated email is not your order's tracking number).

Is there a minimum or a maximum order size?

Food From Cyprus does not impose any restrictions on order size. The shipping cost is calculated as a function of weight. The larger (and heavier) your order is the more cost-effective shipping becomes.

 

How do I earn reward points when shopping on Food From Cyprus?

Food From Cyprus offers reward points which you can redeem against your purchases from us. You can collect reward points in two ways, simply by buying products from us and also by referring new customers to us. To access our referral program login to your account with Food From Cyprus, click on the ‘Referral program’ link and read the simple instructions there on how to refer your friends and family to us. You will earn £5.00 for every paying customer you refer to Food From Cyprus!

 

What should I do if the products I have received are damaged?

We take every care possible to pack your products carefully and securely. Fragile products are clearly marked as ‘Fragile’ on the box. If your order arrives heavily damaged please refuse acceptance and do not sign the delivery receipt. The Post Office, who caused the damage, are obliged to return a heavily damaged order to us, we will claim compensation from Cyprus Post, after the parcel arrives back in Cyprus and we will then compensate you in full. If there is only minor damage or a small part of the order has been damaged please let us know as soon as possible to arrange to compensate you for the damage.

The compensation can be in the form of either a money refund or re-execution of your order, whichever you prefer.

 

What is your return policy?

How do you ensure the confidentiality of my personal information?


Food From Cyprus uses an SSL Certificate to offer secure communications by encrypting all data to and from the site. We receive your payment via PayPal hence Food From Cyprus neither sees nor stores your credit card data. We do not share your data such as your name, address, email address, etc. with any third parties. We use this data only for processing and shipping your order to you. Food From Cyprus occasionally uses your email address to send to you newsletters and offers on our online shop. You have the option to unsubscribe from these communications at any point in time.

Will I have to pay import duties or any other charges?

Cyprus is a full member of the European Union hence no import duties should be levied on your order if you are based in the EU. If you live in a country outside the EU we would recommend checking with your local customs authorities before placing your order to verify whether any charges are payable and also whether any special import permits are necessary for certain products (for example in the case of alcoholic drinks).

From our experience most countries around the world will not charge anything but it is advisable to check before placing your order as customs rules and regulations can vary from country to country.

 

What can I do if I cannot find a Cypriot or Greek product that I want on Food From Cyprus?
